Monday 8th May
Well, it has been a busy and emotional weekend. Tari left us on Friday, and yesterday Spotty left us with Mini Choc. Spotty now has the pet name of Mishka and Mini has the pet name of Cocoa Chanel, or CC for short. both pretty names which suit them, although it will take me a while before I stop calling them Spotty and Mini.
So far things have been going well for them. Spotty has apparently been running around, like the crazy little girl she always was here. She has moved in with 3 neutered boys, but is obviously not phased by them at all. She has been doing her part piece, of kneading while sitting on shoulders, and leaving lots of nice 'pin pricks' on peoples skin!!!! She just loves to sit on shoulders, and knead away!!! Mini is being very cuddly, and having lots of attention and laps to sit on, which is very much like my little Mini. Apparently she has had a few hisses, which is very funny when I picture it, as she is such a small little girl. If she tried to fluff up her tail, there was not much to fluff up!!!! I have attached photos today, they are all taken of Spotty and Mini in their new home, so I hope that you enjoy looking at them. As soon as I get some of Tari, I will post them also.
I was feeling kind of lonely last night, with only 4 kittens in the house. When you have been used to 11, 4 just does not seem many at all! So I left my door open, partly expecting to have the leaping over me all night. But after 10 minutes of lying down in the dark, they all gravitated to my bed, where, after a few little wrestles between them, they settled down, and we all slept until 4.44am precisely. At this time, I decided they needed to be removed from the bedroom, in order that I could get a last hours sleep!!!
I am not sure if they realised their numbers have gone down by 3. Lily and G do not seem in the least bit bothered, in fact they are running around like young crazy things again!!! Fluffy learnt how to get on top of the kitchen cupboards, ( she has been NAUGHTY this morning!), and Lily and G were soon copying her, this would be ok, only they can get inside the hob of the oven!!!!! Or the bit where the extractor fan goes, and I am not keen on that at all, so I had to lay the law down there!!! I think in a way, L and G are grateful for the rest, and for the opportunity to just be cats again, and have some fun. It is hard work for them when they have kittens.
I will sort out the photos now, of Spotty and Mini, as you will see, they are looking quite at home, bless them. The happiness that I get, from hearing about my babies after they have left home, is really great, and I am so appreciative to people for taking the time to tell me all about them. And grateful that I have found such lovely homes for them. I also had another e mail about Nia and Frodo/ Noah and Christmas, and I confess that I was crying with laughter as I read it!!!
I would also like to share with you, some updated photos of Sabre, he was from Lily's litter last year, and is G's brother, he has grown into a very handsome boy, http://linuxgfx.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=15 |
