Thursday 28th February
Well, the kittens are really growing up. The 4 adults in the house, who are a bit frightened of the little White fur balls, that run very fast, are happy in the kitchen. So when babies are awake, I close the kitchen door, kittens then have access to upstairs, stairs, hallway and this room in the front. When they tire, they run back upstairs to go to sleep on my bed,which is good. They have adapted to all the extra room, without a blink or a fluffed up tail, and not a toileting accident to be spotted. Good babies, I'm proud of them!
They continue to eat like horses!!!

Which reminds me, there is some fish that needs to be cooked some more in the microwave. I am getting through heaps and heaps of this fish. Lily has the appetite of a dragon, let alone a horse!

Poor Scarlett, just doesn't know what to do, and if I am around, sticks to me like glue. She doesn't like Fluffy or Carrie, so now refuses to sleep with them in the day. The small white and lively things scare her, so she doesn't want to be with them. She like the lounge and Percy, so she often goes in there, but she would rather be with me EVERYWHERE!!

If I am not in the room with her, she calls for me, and she has a very loud voice !!
When people come to visit, they rarely get to see her cuddly loving side, as she always runs off, due to the fact that Carrie and Fluffy are there.But she is a poppet, and a real little limpet on the adoring front.

Enough of her!

I have just taken some pics with my mobile phone, which I will up load soon. They were just settling down in my room, and as usual, Frankie had to make sure that he was in most of the pictures!

They hated their wormer yesterday, and after I have typed this, I am upstairs to give them some for today! As they are nice and sleepy, it is easier to catch them unawares. Poor little darlings, but it has to be done!

I wont have an entry again, until Monday. Sorry for this. But I think that I said, I have a weekend, with the scouts, under canvas , in The New Forest. Richard and his dad will be on caring for the cats duty.

I will update you on Monday, if I am not frozen to my tent!!!

Wednesday 27th Feb
It seems to me, that the kittens have taken a growth spurt, all of a sudden! They have lost that more 'scrawny kitten stage' that they go through, and now look really quite big! Especially Frankie.

I am not surprised, going by the amount of food that they tuck into. They really DO need feeding each time they wake up, and I sometimes find it hard to keep up with re filling the bowls!

I have just taken some photos of them tucking into plates of cooked white fish mixed with some Applaws, tuna and cheese. They reminded me of a bunch of Piranhas, and no one would believe that they had already got through chicken, more fish, and some cat food earlier in the day!

I don't reckon the adults down here eat as much as they seem to do!

Anyhow, they now have full bellies, the sun is shining on my bed, so they should all curl up and have a good long sleep now.

I gave them their worming medicine this morning, as I forgot last night. The best time to do this, is when they are asleep. Then it is easy to pick them up, and administer the unwelcome substance into their mouths! I have to do this for 2 more mornings, and then that is all done.

I will go and upload the photos now, I am currently taking them on my mobile phone, so you may notice a difference in quality. It is just so much easier to take them this way, and they are not trying to attack the piece of string that is hanging off my old digi camera!!
