We currently have 2 breeding queen, Ch Spireshadow Tigerlily. Tigerlily joined our family in the November of 2003. At the time we lived in Aberdeenshire, and Tigerlily was living in Wiltshire. Her breeder, Lesley Williams, agreed to accompany her on a flight from Heathrow to Edinburgh, with British Airways.
The day that she travelled was a nervous one for me. I made the 2-hour drive to Edinburgh as Lesley was flying up. Lesley had a friend who lived in Edinburgh, so little Tigerlily was able to have a break before starting the long 2-hour drive north.
I had a separate room prepared for her, as I knew that she would have had a long day. The room was warm and cosy, and I made sure that I stayed in there with her. It wasn't long at all before she had ventured out of her box and cuddled up to me, purring like crazy. She was such an adorable little thing; you just had to love her.
Since then she has grown into a beautiful young lady. She still has the wonderful temperament that she had as a kitten. She will purr for anybody, loves to be loved, gives heaps of love, and knows exactly how to get her own way! She is a very clever little lady, and just recently, she has also demonstrated what wonderful maternal instincts she has. Being a mother seems perfectly natural for her, she is a truly wonderful mum.
Tigerlily won her 3rd CC at The Wyvern Cat Show, Saturday 9th September 2006, giving her Champion Status. She also won Best in Show Siamese/Balinese Adult, so we were very proud of her.
